Note how this is the opp. of འབྲལ་བ་ for the connection of two things to be ended. Note also the relationship with བྲེལ་བ་ "to be busy". E.g., [TC] ཤ་ཁྲག་གཅིག་འབྲེལ། "blood and flesh connected as one"; ཕན་ཚུན་སེམས་དང་སེམས་འབྲེལ་བ། "mutual relationship between mind and mental events"; ལུས་འབྲེལ་བ། "in connection with the body"; གྲོགས་སུ་འབྲེལ་བ། "related as friends". II. Cognate to the verb. 1) "Relationship", "connection" e.g., in the crucial Buddhist term རྟེན་ཅིང་འབྲེལ་བར་འབྱུང་བ་ "dependent, related arising". E.g., འབྲེལ་བ་གལ་ཆེན་པོ་འདུག "connections / good relations (with others) is very important"; འབྲེལ་བ་ཆད་པ་ "for the connection between people or things to be lost / broken"; ང་ཚོར་འབྲེལ་བ་འདུག "there is a relationship between us". 2) "Connection" as the name of the sixth case of Tibetan grammar.
